If God wants to do a miracle through you, He does not give
you a method or formula, He gives you special faith in the name of Jesus Christ
(Acts 3:16). Living by faith is like living in the middle of a miracle on the edge of disaster. "When faith is given, it is given, among other reasons, to be tried." (George Muller) We are no better for God than our faith in God. We are never better in anything than our faith. To the degree that we limit the Lord by our faith, is to the degree that He cannot work in us and through us.The most trying times are the most helpful to your faith. If you read the Scriptures carefully, you will never find any great thing done for God that was accomplished easily.All the glories come out of hard times. For God's life to swallow up your life, God must bring you into an absolute condition of helplessness in every area of your life.To do great things for God you must have great faith in God. Every trial in your life is an opportunity to increase your faith. Great faith only comes through great trials. Your faith cannot increase when everything is going well. The trial that tries your faith will take you on to the place where you will know that the faith of God will be forthcoming in the next trial. Every trial is intended to bring you to a greater place in God. God wants to bring us to a definite place of unswerving faith and confidence in Him in every area of our lives.
